OK, so my retinologist says he still sees the hemorrhage along with some "mild background retonipathy." What the heck does that mean? Sheesh, you'd think he was telling me that I had toilet paper on my shoe.
Kerri, I found out about this site from your resent blog. thank you! It is fun talking to other diabetics aorund the world. I was happy to read that your eye scare the other day is OK! hope you take the doc's advice and take a weekend for youself..stress free..idk if that is possible but...have a good/relaxing weekend. ttly -Jenna
Glad to hear that the eye crisis has passed. My retinologist saw a small hemorrhage in one of my eyes. We'll see how it's doing at the follow-up visit in a week or two.
I found your blog at work the other day--it made me laugh so hard and I love your writing! I am also hoping to get a CGM asap...we'll see how it goes. I moved to italy about a year ago and am having such a hard time making a support network or just finding people who know anything or understand diabetes - I found this site thanks to you =)
The CGMS is a really great tool that just takes a lot of time to get used to. If you want, I can email you some pictures of Emma's graphs that show how accurate it really is once you get the calibrations down pat. It took us a good month or so of 24/7 use to get a good fix on it.
