About me:

I've have been around diabetes all my life, but indirectly. My grandmother was a diabetic (Type 1) and my mother is a diabetic (Type 2).

For the past three years I have been with a wonderful girl who has had juvenile diabetes for the majority of her life. From her I've learned so much but I feel I should a lot more abut this chronic disease.

I'm on DiabetesFriends to meet other people affected by this disorder & to get myself smart on diabetes.
