Thanks for the comment! It took me a long time actually since 1994 to get my A1C down to 6.9. Welcome to the site!

Hi Jessica, That photo is one I took of a beach called Cape Arago. You have to take a trail about 200 feet straight down to get there. Whales are frequently there and you can see many tails. I was sitting on the lighter colored rock. Oregon gets some fantastic beach weather in the winter. I am very blessed. You can't see it from the photo, but Cape Arago is a very small cove with rock cliffs on each side and a beautiful view of the coastline South. Hope you are doing well.

Oh your dog is such a little cutie. She looks like she rules the roost. What a doll!

I got my first pump some 25 years ago. Pumps were bigger and heavier back then, so I had it only for 6 months. Being 14 years old I somehow couldn't get used to it. Also I put on about 30 lbs while on the pump and I really didn't like that. I tried it again 8 years later, but I got infections all the time and had to replace the needle twice a day and still insulin absorption wasn't good. So that didn't last very long either. I want to give it a try again and I hope it's gonna work out.
